  • Carlson: The University of Minnesota’s new Business School building
  • Clubhouse: (any) club
  • Crack Stacks: (CS) an affectionate nickname for Riverside Plaza
  • Crunk for Jesus: Drunk (Jia-ism)
  • Dunnhouse: Dunn Brothers Cafe, specifically at the University location
  • E-Commons: (UMinnesota) The seating area near the West Bank’s Essential’s Market
  • Freighthouse: Dunn Brothers Cafe’s Freighthouse location
  • Hanson: (Hanson Hall) another building in the business school
  • Honey, Honey Kack: a surprise attack by a weaker opponent (B.Scott-ism)
  • Johannen (yo-hahn-nen): A waste of time
  • Krawall (und remmidemmi): riot, chaos, ruckus (Deichkind reference)
  • Late: (you’re late) someone who is not put together, sloppy
  • Murse: A male handbag (man purse)
  • Pelli Library: The Central Branch of the Hennepin County Library
  • Pradski Dress: a knockoff Prada dress, or cheap dress. (from the Andrea Doria song)
  • Purple Onion: Purple Onion Café, a local Cafe
  • Remmidemmi (Krawall und remmidemmi): racket, “to do”, ruckus (Deichkind reference)
  • Saloon: a Minneapolis club
  • Selt: “Salt” in Minnesotan
  • Shot: (you’re shot) someone who is not put together, slovenly, sloppy, or drunk (see: late)
  • Tiny Tot for Christ: someone who is short (B.Scott-ism)
  • Unholler: a rebuke, disapproval
  • Vöt (V-oeh-t) : A celebratory exclamation.
